ROMANTIC DRUMORE ESTATE WEDDING | LANCASTER
Joelle and Austin’s beautifully romantic Drumore Estate wedding in Lancaster was everything they had dreamt about. Throughout their entire wedding day, they kept making note on how how blessed they were. They were so happy to have all of the ones they loved the most be present, including their grandfather, who played a very important role in this wedding day.
We always tell our couples to place their wedding details together the night before in a box or bag. When we arrived, Joelle had already so graciously placed everything together for us to photograph, including floral scraps which we’re always so grateful for! It helps us create photos like this for our couples!
A first look with dad is ALWAYS a good idea, especially when you’re super close. This father daughter first look was a tear jerker, and not just for Joelle and her father, but for her bridesmaids too!
A lot of couples are now doing this thing called “private vows.” This is where you write out your vows before the ceremony that you want to read privately to your partner. This is probable one of the most intimate moments of a wedding day. And as you can see, Joelle and Austin’s connection is so deep, that the tears just wouldn’t stop flowing.
This is the grandfather that means the world to them, and it was a super special moment to have some special portraits taken with him before the ceremony. Like i said, the tears were flowing this day.
Can we just talk about the authentic and raw smiles coming from these two. Can’t you just feel their love in your gut? I feel like i can still hear Joelle laughing right now.
Drumore Estate is absolutely beautiful and and offers the most wonderful outdoor cocktail hour space. Joelle and Austin had fewer amount of guests than the average wedding, but doing this really gave them the chance to focus on engaging with their guests.

When booking a wedding vendor, we always recommend looking for a place that has a decent sunset location. Joelle and Austin couldn’t stop commenting on how grateful they were to have been given this sunset and this light. Put your sunglasses on, because it’s about to get golden!
