MIAMI BEACH WEDDINGÂ
Kalin and Axel had the most perfect Miami beach wedding. Kalin, a beautiful old souled bride, and Axel, a fashionable kind man tied the knot in Miami. Miami is where they live, however, this place means a lot to them! and when you see them in these photos, you’ll understand and see how they fit together so perfectly.
Kalin got ready at the Ritz Carlton, right on the main drag in Miami. Kalin’s style is so incredibly vintage glam, and it fits her personality so well. The room was filled with laughter, adorable babies (her sister had had one recently!) and champagne toasts.
Axel got ready at him and Kalin’s apartment! Freeman had drove to their place to photograph the shenanigans happening, while the men got dressed in their dapper suits and took some shots.
These two have a love made perfectly for one another. See for yourself!
CEREMONY
Kalin and Axel held their miami beach wedding ceremony at the south pointe pier. They wanted to incorporate that Miami feel, while not covering themselves in sand. It was such a cool experience! By standers walked by and watched as these two said i do. Cruise ships cruised by waving to these two below. It was a visual memory i’m sure they’ll never forget! And we we’re sure to incorporate images to properly document how this amazing love filled ceremony went.
This was a super special moment between Kalin and one of her best friends. They have tattoos reminding them of the year they met!
PORTRAITS
Unfortunately sunny Miami wasn’t so sunny this day. Actually it was quite cold and very windy. BUT, the good thing about hiring a photographer that knows natural light and always has an alternative ready to go in their minds, is that they have plan B up their sleeves and can work with anything. Since the sun had set by this point, we had to navigate the natural light of the city, water and lights. And quite honestly, this vibe fit PERFECTLY with Axel and Kalin.
RECEPTION
They held their reception on a rooftop called Sky Deck Miami on Collins Ave in South Beach. This was the icing on the cake. This place was SO them! Their friends and family we’re having the best time while they tried the special alcoholic kombucha cocktails (yes i said alcoholic) and the spread of food that was supplied was unmatched. These two did an amazing job planning their wedding and really keeping it focused on their love, style and vibe. I mean, they look like some celebrities. Am i right?!
