LONGWOOD GARDENS ENGAGEMENT SESSION
What a picture perfect day for a Longwood Gardens engagement session. The sun enhanced the garden’s beautiful colors while Victoria and Mike brought the heat. Longwood Gardens never fails to provide the most stunning backdrop of flowers and foliage!
Victoria and Mike are classy and quirky – a dynamic duo. Victoria likes to say that she and Mike met through Craigslist… which is actually true! When Victoria moved to Chicago, she used Craigslist to search for a roommate. One of those friends introduced her to Mike, and the three often hung out. However, their mutual friend soon began dating someone. Consequently, the two started spending more time together alone and fell in love.
After years of dating, Victoria and Mike planned a European vacation. Leading up to their trip, Victoria and her sister were traveling in Spain. On their last night in Barcelona, the girls went on a sunset stroll. Meanwhile, Mike waited ahead to surprise Victoria with a proposal. How romantic?! Afterwards, they shared a magical evening celebrating the newly engaged couple. The next day, Victoria and Mike left for their two week engagement-moon, exploring Germany and Croatia together.
Despite the adventurous proposal, these two describe themselves as low-key. Mike makes incredible bourbon craft cocktails, which they enjoy drinking. During their session, the two donned matching shirts that read “Drink Wisconsibly” as a reference to the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee. In fact, the couple even chose this beer-inspired museum as their wedding venue!
At the beer garden, they grabbed a brew with a cheers to their love. Truly, the perfect way for them to show their personality while surrounded by breathtaking landscape. Indeed, a Longwoods Gardens engagement session offers such vibrancy in an exquisite outdoor setting.
