This Hilton Head beach wedding is anything but ordinary. This wedding date happened on May 1st, 2021, exactly 10 years to the day that Cristina and Ryan started dating at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. Cristina and Ryan being high school sweethearts, this is a huge deal! And they wanted to tie the knot at one of their most favorite places. The beach!

Cristina and Ryan are two peas in a pod. Having started dating in 2011 in high school, these two have grown through all of the phases from high school, to careers and so on. They both absolutely love doing so many things like cooking together, happy hour with friends and tailgating literally almost every single game at Penn State. But on top of that, they thoroughly enjoy traveling together, Disney being one of those top places. Originally they were to have their wedding outside of Penn State, but came to the decision during Covid to change paths and get married in SC, having a Hilton Head beach wedding!

Their love is so incredibly evident and was just so wonderful to photograph. Cristina just loves the way Ryan knows how to take care and support her in every corner of life. He knows what to say at the right time, and that’s wonderful. He rarely gets frustrated yet instead makes her laugh. (i can support this, ryan is hilarious!) She loves his sense of humor, and most importantly his eyelashes! haha

Ryan has a deep love for her spice of life and love of adventure. He says that she brings out the thrill in him, and that’s important! He is in love with her dimples, which aren’t we all. He loves partaking in her baking/cooking skills while assisting her in the kitchen as a sous chef. Can we say, adorable?!

Their proposal happened ironically enough, at another beach! It happened in Cape May, NJ! Ryan took Cristina out for a super romantic dinner and ended the evening with the sun setting as he got down on one knee! They spent the rest of that day in each other’s arms just soaking up each other’s love.

So once again, it’s no surprise these two decided to have a Hilton Head beach wedding. And it was the most wonderful day!
