ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST ENGAGEMENT SESSION

so, believe it or not, but manny and autumn WON this angeles national forest engagement session! and i seriously had such a wonderful time getting to know these two.

autumn and manny live in SoCal, and met many moons ago at the gym they both went to. and if you can’t tell from these photos, they have been best friends ever since. when autumn was getting her makeup done by, vero leigh, i asked them many questions trying to get to know them before i photographed them. it was so wonderful getting to hear how they very much complement each other! opposites always attract! manny is the more quiet type, and autumn is the passionate outgoing type. but they both have what the other isn’t.

when i began planning this free session with autumn, i wanted to make sure we found a location that meant something to them. manny and autumn went on a trip to yosemite not to long before this session, and he ended up proposing to her there! they both really love the outdoors and spending time in nature, so she wanted to bring in that sentiment into the engagement session. she wanted green, and she got green! even though it’s california.

if you can’t tell from these photos, this is the kind of love that is so incredibly evident. 

we spent a lot of the time laughing, quite honestly. from a photographers perspective, i always to make sure that laughter happens. so this means that we’ll play games and utilize prompts that brings out the real laughter of each person.
